  19.           This is the SHAREWARE Registration information for some P.C
  20.           Softsmith software.  This information is subject to change
  21.           without notice in future distributions.  When you register
  22.           please clearly state what you want and mark what you are
  23.           registering.  One choice is to simply add your name and
  24.           address to this, edit it, and print it, circle or highlight
  25.           the correct selection, then mail the results.  You can do the
  26.           same with email and some cutting and pasting.  Written
  27.           comments and suggestions will always be gratefully accepted.

  29.           We normally only ship diskettes and receipts, and the base
  30.           product is normally identical for registered and
  31.           non-registered versions.  This means that you will normally
  32.           get the same thing if you ask for 'the latest version' when
  33.           you register.  However, there normally are quite a few
  34.           utilities that may or may not be in the non-registered
  35.           version, depending on available shipping space and how useful
  36.           we think they might be to the 'average' user.  You will likely
  37.           have noticed that we have adopted a 'core' and 'extras'
  38.           distribution format because our most common support contact to
  39.           September, 1994 includes unusably incomplete distribution
  40.           sets.  The new scheme aims to shrink the default distribution
  41.           so people will be less inclined to alter it.  We also add or
  42.           change utilities from time to time for a variety of reasons.
  43.           Our LOCAL distribution is NOT standardised and is very much
  44.           tailored to individual needs because we can easily work
  45.           closely to meet specific needs.  We can often recommend or
  46.           include extra stuff that will help you if we have some idea of
  47.           your specific needs.

  49.           U.S. Registration Dollar Amount and explanation by program for
  50.           use on one machine unless otherwise indicated.  We do not
  51.           separate taxes and shipping, but if you use the PsL ordering
  52.           option please figure on adding $4 for shipping and handling.

  63.           Hands On remote access basic distribution                $50
  64.           This assumes one master remote support center or machine and
  65.           any number of Host machines to be supported.  This price is
  66.           applicable for any portion or all of the current Hands On
  67.           release.

  69.           If you have a group licensing proposal, especially for Clean
  70.           Air regulations and companies with over 100 people, we are
  71.           willing to consider it.

  73.           If you ask us at P. C. Softsmith for the latest version, full
  74.           set of utilities and 'easy use' utilities, we will send them
  75.           in response to your registration.  Don't assume anything,
  76.           specifically ask and make sure.

  78.           This is a separate product that we distribute.  People often
  79.           indicate that they would have preferred to look at both choices
  80.           before they opted for one.  TeleShare provides more basic
  81.           remote control capability than Hands On.  Its simpler and cheaper.

  126.           Please note that the Public (software) Library will normally
  127.           be selling disks with the latest version, and we will assume
  128.           that you have the latest version unless you specifically ask
  129.           for an update and utilities with Hands On.  If you can order
  130.           from PSL and email/mail us at P. C. Softsmith with any
  131.           technical/support details you will get the best overall
  132.           service.  Note that you cannot talk to us and order from PsL
  133.           through us;  the two procedures are separate.  We can discuss
  134.           upgrades, timing, and so on, with you but the PsL people
  135.           cannot.  Talk to us at P. C. Softsmith but pay them at PsL.

  147.           #4509, and you "GO SWREG" to go through the registration
  148.           process.  (TeleShare is #4510).
